Nurse noting patient details

School Health

Our school nurse, Kristen Truax, is dedicated to caring for our students. She manages health records, conducts health screenings, and ensures students receive the support they need.

If your child has a chronic health condition—such as asthma, Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, severe allergies, or sickle cell anemia—please inform the school nurse so the necessary documentation can be completed.

You can find the required health forms for Pennwood Cyber Charter School below.

School Health Requirements

All Pennwood students are required to complete annual health screenings in accordance with Pennsylvania state mandates. These screenings can be conducted by your private physician anytime after July 1st and submitted to the school nurse. If not completed privately, they will be scheduled throughout the school year with the school nurse.

For grade-specific requirements, please refer to the Mandated Health Services document.
