Student Services Department
At Pennwood Cyber Charter School, we are proud to offer a comprehensive K–12 school counseling program designed to support students academically, socially, and emotionally throughout every stage of their educational journey. Our program features robust career exploration beginning in Kindergarten, building a strong foundation for future planning. In middle school, students continue to develop their academic and personal identities through targeted lessons focused on self-awareness, decision-making, and goal setting, while also beginning to explore career interests more deeply. At the high school level, students have access to Coursera courses and opportunities to earn micro-credentials, equipping them with real-world skills and certifications. Our dedicated school counselors are readily available to assist with academic advisement, social-emotional support, and post-secondary planning. Additionally, two academic advisors lead our dynamic career programming efforts, while our school social worker provides community-based resources, facilitates small groups, and offers personalized support services. Together, our counseling team is committed to fostering student success and well-being at every grade level.
